About Us

Sharon Andrews, R.N., CCS-P has an extensive background in dermatology. Before entering the consulting field in 1995, she managed a dermatology practice for several years. She has additional experience in cosmetic surgery, having worked for three years as a surgical nurse and patient advisor in that environment.

She is the author of DermNews, a monthly publication for dermatology practices, and has been quoted in Dermatology World, Part B News, and Medical Economics.

Sharon is a charter member of the Association of Dermatology Administrators and Managers (ADA/M), holds coding certification through the American Health Information Management Association (AHIMA), and is a member of the National Association of Healthcare Consultants.

She has participated in the opening of over 40 dermatology practices, provided on site consultations to numerous practices, and lectured on coding and other practice management issues to various dermatology groups.

Joyce Hall, CDC, comes to DermResources with thirty seven years experience in the medical field, having served in every administrative position from receptionist to practice manager.

Before beginning her consulting career, Joyce spent two years as an instructor for a nationally recognized practice management software system used by many dermatologists.

Next came her tenure with the Inga Ellzey Practice Group as a consultant, starting in 1997. When the Inga Ellzey Practice Group decided to close its consulting branch in January of 2001, Joyce brought her consulting talents to DermResources.

Joyce is a Certified Dermatology Coder.

Jim Andrews, MSSM,  received his undergraduate degree from the University of West Florida (Magna cum Laude) in Business Administration, and his Master’s degree in Systems Management from the University of Southern California. He has extensive experience in the computer and systems management industry, including project management, software design, and training.
